The $100 Honda Elite 80 just became someone else’s $375 Elite. Not too shabby. All in with parts I had maybe $150 into it. It was fun to reserect it and have some adventures with it, but once I had my 150 back in business, I found myself never choosing to ride the 80, even though it was super comfy.
I kept the license plate that was on it when I bought it.
It coincidentally had the same color sticker as this year’s stickers, do I gambled that nobody was going to pull me over and never bothered registering it :)
Now I need to start working on my Helix to get it ready for this year’s Gambler 500- Illinois in September.
